Over the years, I have helped many students in Southampton of all levels improve their violin technique and develop their overall standard of performance. How long are your violin lessons?

My violin lessons range from thirty minutes, forty five minutes, to an hour. However, you can change the amount of time your lessons take as and when you choose, depending on your schedule.

How much do your violin lessons cost?

The cost of my violin lessons starts at £20 for a thirty-minute session. However, a full hour only costs £30, while a forty-five-minute slot comes up to £25. Because of this, you don’t have to pay full price every time, especially if you have a busy schedule. That way, you can learn the violin within your pace, skill level and budget.

Do you offer violin lessons outside of Southampton?

I can provide violin lessons to students of all ages in Southampton, Eastleigh, Chichester, Portsmouth, Fareham and around Hampshire and West Sussex. My dedicated music room is close to Southampton city centre, so it’s the ideal place to pick up a new skill if you live in these areas.

Can you offer advice on buying a violin?

If you want to buy yourself a violin, then I can give you my expertise in the area. However, as part of my work at Music Maestros, we do offer a starting violin pack at an affordable price. If you’re a beginner looking to learn, this means you can get started without having to spend hundreds of pounds before you do.

Do you offer violin lessons to adults and children?

Absolutely! No matter your age or skill level, I feel that I can both teach you how to play the violin, and provide my passion for music too. If you’re looking for lessons for your child, then my music room is a warm and positive environment in which they can laugh and learn.

Do you offer lessons for exams?

I offer violin lessons specifically for exam practice and preparation for all levels and grades. I am proud of my exceptionally high success rate  in having my students pass with flying colours.

The reason for this is that my lessons are specifically designed to prepare you for scales, pieces and sight reading so that you are fully confident before taking your exam. This approach has proved to be extremely successful with all of my private students.

Flexible Violin Lesson Times

I understand the need to be flexible in order to fit  Violin lessons in with individual’s everyday busy lives. Therefore I offer violin lessons throughout the week (mornings, afternoons and evenings) and can always find suitable dates and times to schedule convenient lessons.

Violin Lesson Prices

I charge the following prices for private Violin lessons in Southampton:

• £25 per half an hour lesson
• £32.50 per three quarter hour lesson
• £40 per 1 hour lesson

Location

I offer private violin lessons from my home in Southampton, as well as my music school which is close to the City Centre and very easy to get to. I have comfortable practice rooms, with lovely waiting rooms, free WIFI and plenty of parking.
